Job Description

Senior Technical Architect role within Americas Services organization, focused on providing technical leadership through Customer Experience for Utilities (CX4U) and CX Fusion Sales & Service product engagements– Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) experience preferred. Will work directly with client technical sponsor and business leads to deliver highly-scalable, easily maintainable web applications for both end-customers and enterprise employees. Focus on customer SaaS/PaaS adoption, technical architecture, leveraging best practice cloud development processes, and scope management. Internally will champion Oracle’s True Cloud Method delivery methodology across pre-sales, delivery and product stakeholders to scale Oracle Customer Solutions for Industries CX SaaS and PaaS delivery capabilities to consistently and cost-effectively deliver best-in-class cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Internal Oracle:

o Certified Oracle Redwood Application Developer

o Mentor/develop other consultants into lead roles

o Contribute to reusable collateral/accelerators

o Participate in business development, including customer presentations and RFP responses related to CX Portal Architect role/function

o Knowledge sharing across peer group

Project engagements:

o Single point of contact to both Project Manager and client for the CX Portal solutions and scope management

o Provide leadership to the implementation team by promoting consistency across the team, including methodology, deliverable templates, terminology, etc

o Provide leadership and guidance in defining technical architecture landscape and strategy for CX for Industries

o Partner with client technical leadership on change management to drive PaaS and SaaS adoption to the larger client organization and educate this community on key changes to current processes

o Provide Oracle Cloud Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) development best practice, through engagements in Oracle Utilities implementations within North America

Clear & timely communication internally, as well as externally with customers and partners

Preferred Qualifications

O VBCS technical architect experience on at least two implementations

o Facilitating workshops

o Driving the client to a recommended solution and owning the delivery of it

o Providing leadership to both client and project team

Designer or architect experience with Oracle Fusion apps

Utility industry experience (working directly for a utility) a plus

Oracle Fusion Service Implementation Professional certification

Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service Implementation Professional certification

10+ years overall relevant experience, including 5+ years in consulting or services

Successful full lifecycle implementation experience

This position typically requires 25-50% travel. Travel to client site will be limited to specific project tasks requiring client engagement (e.g. facilitating workshops). When not traveling to a client site work will be done remotely.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $88,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
