Insight Global Director of Finance & Accounting in Gillette, Wyoming

Job Description

Insight Global is assisting a client with identifying a Finance / Accounting Director for a growing outpatient clinic, as well as construction start up in Wyoming. These are partner companies that operate under the same organization. The Director of Finance/Accounting plays a critical role in driving healthy business growth, both vertically and horizontally. Responsibilities will include establishing and adhering to budgets, strategic forecasting, and assisting with investor, vendor, and contractor negotiations. As well as oversee financial forecasting, reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, compliance, GAAP, and budget preparation. Other key responsibilities will include providing financial analysis, coordinating financial forecasting, and planning, and leading the preparation of financial statements, activity reports, forecasts, and budgets. You will also play a vital role in the development and integration of Direct Primary Care lines of business. Ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and advising business units on accounting and budgeting policies are additional aspects of your role. Furthermore, they will oversee a team of professionals responsible for financial activities, implement internal control policies and procedures, and supervise the AP/Payroll Coordinator, Contracting Controller, and Coding and Billing Department. Maintaining the integrity of all revenues and ensuring compliance with organizational policies, state and federal laws, and regulations will be a key focus.

The company is growing rapidly and needs a leader who is forward thinking and looks at challenges as an opportunity. They are opening new locations, departments, and specialties within the outpatient medical field. This leader needs hands on financial analysis, strong ability to forecast, proven track record of making important decisions, and willing to own the complete finance / accounting for both startups.

 Oversees employees responsible for financial forecasting, reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.

 Implements internal control policies and procedures for all financial activities.

 Supervises AP/P Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

 Coordinates the company's financial forecasting, planning, reporting, analysis, and budgeting.

 Leads the preparation of periodic financial statements, activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.

 Leads the development and integration of Direct Primary Care lines of business.

 Ensures that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

 Reviews financial details from past, present, and forecasted operations; identifies development opportunities and improvements that can be made.

 Provides management with short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.

 Advises business units on and assists with implementation of accounting and budgeting policies.

 Confirms accuracy and oversees filing of quarterly and annual reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

 Collaborates with external auditors to provide information needed for the annual audit.

 Maintains full integrity of all revenues, ensuring organization policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations, are followed.

Skills and Requirements

* Finance background in a clinical / hospital industry

* 5 years' experience of leadership experience

* Broad experience overseeing all financial functions A/R, A/P, Revenue Cycle, payroll, expenses, taxes etc.

* Strong background in financial forecasting, determining ROI, annual budgets, capital expenditures, audit preparation

* Bachelor's degree * QuickBooks

* Monday work management system

* Paymerang system (invoice approvals, payment automation)

* Masters degree null
