Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) Technician - Laramie, WY

Position Overview As a member of our team, you will collaborate with geologists, engineers, and surveyors to develop drawings, layouts, and designs for environmental reports, engineering plans, and survey drawings using CADD software. Our CADD team members project opportunities include drafting civil engineering construction plans and details, environmental construction plans and details, creating environmental report maps, processing survey data, preparing public involvement exhibits, and much more.

Position Qualifications:

• 2-6 years of Autodesk software experience, including AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• Preferred, 2-6 years of Bentley MicroStation and/or Open Roads Designer software experience
• Completed or enrolled in an associate degree program in Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technologies, Engineering Technology, or another related field; or equivalent drafting and design work experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with a wide variety of project team members
• Acceptable written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with project team members
• Positive previous employment history
• Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing projects on schedule
• Dependable, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Location This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Laramie, WY. This office is situated in a University town that provides ready access to multiple recreational opportunities and Mountain West Living. There is also a regional airport, making air travel convenient.
