The Senior Manager will partner with the Marketing organization to provide financial guidance and analytics to support key decisions, drive growth and ensure financial objectives are achieved. The Senior Manager will also be the key contact for all Financial Planning and Analysis for their relevant Marketing teams. This includes understanding all financial aspects of the P&L, variance analysis, data consolidation and special projects. * What will you do?* * Perform monthly financial review (actual results vs plan and prior year). Take a proactive role in understanding key financial components in the P&L and be able to explain key drivers for material changes in the financial results. * Prepare and submit Financial Updates (LE) either monthly or quarterly, being the Canada key contact across International and Corp FP&A in terms of strategy clarification, financial variations and assumptions * Co-lead Supply Chain finance team in collaboration with US finance team to assess costing actuals, forecast, making investment decision and manage risks and opportunities * Prepare and present monthly financial review and analysis to the Marketing teams and the Finance group. Draw insights and make recommendations to business partners on opportunities for improvement. * Take ownership of identified incremental risks and opportunities (versus the forecast/plan) and support Marketing team in efforts to close any gaps to plan. * Provide Marketing team proactive and value-added financial analysis followed up with sound recommendations to drive profitable business decisions and maximize growth and margin improvement. * Key role in the product commercialization process. Develop accurate P&Ls, make recommendations and challenge (where necessary). Ensure innovation is financially sound, aligned to strategy and will maximize growth and profit. * Develop and maintain analytical tools, modeling, and processes to support a deeper level of analysis to achieve targeted financial results. * Develop relationships with cross-functional partners and key central services groups * Lead other special projects and ad hoc reporting as required. * Minimum Requirements* * Undergraduate business degree, MBA, CMA, or equivalent experience. * Minimum 7 years of progressive professional experience with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Finance, Sales, Marketing, and/or Management Consulting. * Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment * Willingness to be a part of a high performing team that works hard and has fun! * You can look at an analytical dashboard and gain insights with ease. * You have a solid understanding of financial metrics and P&L fundamentals.
